Featuring Vitamin A & L*Space!
While so many of us are spending more time at home right now as well as working from home we felt it would be a great time to share with you some of the fantastic loungewear pieces that are helping us stay cozy and comfortably chic whether we are at home or out and about.
This list includes comfy, cozy, versatile pieces that do double wardrobe duty by being lounge staples that can be incorporated into your everyday life and mixed with other pieces to create fashionably fierce, all season outfits! We chose these picks from two of our favourite brands, Vitamin A and L*Space. If you’re familiar with these two California based brands then you already know how fab their products are and for those who aren’t, this is a great way to get acquainted with the brands. Up first, Vitamin A!
If you’ve ever worn a Vitamin A bikini then you already know that their quality, craftsmanship, and fit are beyond comparison! As the originator of the ultra flattering LLB (Little Black Bikini) as well as the now-iconic, “California cut”, Vitamin A never ceases to enthrall us with their fabulous cuts and fashionable, figure flattering designs and we’re thrilled to say that these qualities have been applied to their new line of outstanding lounge pieces!
Not only are these pieces chic and comfortable, they are also eco-conscious! Feeling the desire to do something good for the planet and subsequently humanity, is something that we’ve all experienced. Now more than ever the need to minimize our environmental footprint is at an all time high. Some ways we can help promote sustainability is how we shop, particularly for fashion.

Such a simple statement but what’s behind it makes such an enormous impact. Amahlia continues to exemplify this promise season after season with the California made Vitamin A brand which is one of the many reasons why we continue to promote and celebrate this brand.
Our list consists of items that are made from two of Vitamin A’s eco-friendly fabrics. Organic Rib™ and EcoSoft.
Organic Rib™ is a sustainable, textured fabric that consists of a blend of Organic Cotton and Tencel® with a touch of stretch. The material is renewable, compostable, biodegradable, and grown with non-GMO seeds. Tencel’s closed loop manufacturing process recycles over 99% of water. The Cotton is GOTS Certified Organic Cotton, OEKO-TEX® certified, and uses non-toxic and low-impact dyes. Vitamin A’s Organic Rib™ fabric consists of 46% Tencel, 46% Organic Cotton, and 8% Lycra® and is made in California.
Ecosoft is sustainably made in California from plant-based and recycled materials. It is a renewable, compostable, and biodegradable blend of 60% Organic Hemp and 40% Organic Cotton. It absorbs CO2 through photosynthesis, making it carbon negative and uses half as much water and land as cotton. It is grown using no herbicides, fungicides or pesticides.

This may look like your run-of-the-mill tank top but the West Tank from Vitamin A is super natural! Literally! The Organic Rib™ fabric is a sustainably produced blend of organic cotton and tencel with a smidge of lycra for stretch. This super hero of tanks loves being matched with the Talia Shorts or the West Pant but wouldn’t complain if you paired it with your fave denim for a little casual cool.

Sleek and streamlined aren’t the usual terms used in regards to joggers but these ones have broken the mould! Ok, here’s the lowdown; here at Sandpipers we try not to play favourites with our beloved loungewear pieces but this bodysuit may have just made it to the tops of all our wish lists! Cute and comfy enough to sleep in but with enough coverage to answer the front door for your take-out delivery! A t-shirt dress that pairs our love of lounging with our love for the planet! The Catalina Tee Dress from Vitamin A is one of those “looks great on everyone” staple pieces that we can’t get enough of.
