What's new? What's trending? What styles will we be seeing this coming season?
These are all questions we hear from our customers on the regular, especially when it comes to the popular California swimwear brand, Vitamin A. This post will answer these questions and more including; Which styles are back again this season, which pieces we'll be saying good-bye to, and which new styles will replace them. What's Trending?
Ribbed and textured fabrics are back in a big way and we couldn't be more thrilled about it! Vitamin A has even introduced a brand new fabric this season: SuperRib!!! This unique, wide rib texture material is stretchy and lightweight and like their core fabrications is sustainably made with a blend of recycled Nylon and Lycra. We're also seeing lots of shimmer and metallic pieces in neutrals, golds, and pewters as well as gold ring hardware details, and of course (for those of us who always ask: "Does it come in black?") lots and lots of black bikinis and one pieces!
Best Sellers: Back Back Back Again!
Timeless glam is our jam, and no one understands this better than Vitamin A! As the originators of the ultra flattering LLB (Little Black Bikini) as well as the now-iconic, “California cut”, we know our regular customers are always excited to see the brand's core silhouettes in new colors, textures, and fabrics.
The Gia Triangle is our most popular sliding triangle bikini top so it stands to reason that this one is back with a vengeance. It's joined by the super sexy (and supportive) underwire Demi Top.
Our favorite, adjustable tie side bikini bottom, the Elle Tie Side Bottom is back as well as the OG "high leg with a touch of cheeky sass", the Cali High Leg Bottom. While we don't anticipate these staples disappearing from the core collection anytime soon, you should grab the new colors while you can, these ones sell out quick!
One piece swimsuits are keeping it simple and chic this season. The flattering high cut leg line and cheeky coverage silhouettes aren't going anywhere anytime soon and we are here for all of it! The Vitamin A Jenna Bodysuit is back with her itty bitty straps and square cut neckline and her sister the Alia One Piece is gracing our racks again with her halter strap and sexy side profile. We love wearing Vitamin A One Pieces as bodysuits in the cooler months and with these beauties there's never been a better time to suit up!
If you've been eyeing the Cannes Bucket Hat now would be a good time to grab one. This packable, straw cutie consistently sells out after each and every re-stock! The same is true of Vitamin A's EcoLinen collection. The Tallows Wide Leg Pant, Tallows Crop Top, and Tallows Short wear impeccably on so many shapes and sizes along with the Playa Oversized Linen Shirts (our best selling beach shirt!) which we love to style with different ensembles for all seasons and all weather! Speaking of EcoLinen we can't wait for you to try the newest addition to the collection, but more on that below!
Saying Goodbye In Style
Every statement maker knows when it's time to leave the party for with their parting brings new styles and new fashionable swimwear moments to be had! Some of our Vitamin A faves that will not be returning this season are the popular Lou Top and the Reese One Piece (don't mourn them just yet though, we still have some pieces in stock so grab them while you still can!). The best selling Leah One Piece Bodysuit and Playa Linen Dress will also be bowing out gracefully but we're not shedding too many tears because wait until you see their replacements! (keep on scrolling!)
So What's New?!
The anticipation is real here friends! There's always an air of excitement for us when new Vitamin A pieces hit the racks at Sandpipers and this season's line-up is no exception! A sexy new fabric, the legendary Cali Bottom has a new sister style, lots of shimmer, lots of cheek, and of course all sustainably made!
Introducing SuperRib! This fab new addition to the Vitamin A fabric family is making its debut in some brand new silhouettes.
The New Sienna Bralette features the same scoop neck and supportive underbust band as the original Sienna Tank but with thinner straps to add a flirtier appeal to the sporty style. The Rossi Halter Underwire Top is a supportive underwire top with a tie back (like the Demi Top!) but with a seductive plunging neckline and adjustable straps!
The Emmi High Waist bottom is perfect for those who like a high waisted bottom that's "not too high" and has a flattering wide waistband and Vitamin A's Classic California cheeky coverage. And speaking of which, (drumroll please) The iconic Cali High Leg is now available with fuller rear coverage!!!
Our lovely Leah has been updated with a contemporary square cut neckline and we are already planning all the places we'll wear her! The Sol Top joins the "new and improved" set as the new Sol Strappy Wrap Top! Same triangle silhouette with parallel adjustable straps but now with the addition of sexy wrap-around straps.
We love a shimmer moment and while this mineral shimmer catches the sunlight you'll be catching glances in the new Gemma Ruched Bandeau and Gemma Ruched High Waist Bottom. Both pieces feature shirring detail with adjustable ties that let you customize your coverage. Super sexy, super practical, we're in love!
The Playa Kaftan is the newest addition to the Vitamin A Ecolinen collection with the same collar and shell buttons as the Playa Shirt this effortless beauty takes a full length caftan silhouette and adds a figure flattering belt, side slits, and pockets!
